XIV Field Operations - Save the Queen

Bozja Relic Weapons

Thank you to the Consolegameswiki Resistance Weapon page for supplying much of this information. Please keep in mind that the goal of this guide is to give optimal grinding methods and will rarely list alternatives such as Blue Mage.

Many steps in the Bozja relic grind can be done at the same time so it tends to be worthwhile to get a weapon at every step to have all steps active at once. The following steps can be done simultaneously:
  • Steps 2 and 3: Omnifarms and general cluster/fragment farming in BSF
  • Steps 5 and 6: DRN
This is also an amazing way to grind Allagan Tomestones of Poetics so consider working on Zodiac and Anima relics if you are interested in those.

Step one requires you to obtain 4 Thavnairian Scalepowder which can be bought for a total of 1000 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics in Mor Dhona.
These can be obtained from Auriana in the location shown below in the "Special Arms" menu.

Step two requires you to obtain 20 of 3 types of memories:There are multiple ways to obtain these but the quickest way to do every Bozja relic step is to actually do them in Bozja itself.

The fastest way to get these memories is to join an omnifarm. These farms are hosted on average 1-2 times a month, usually over on CEM listed in our NA server list on the main guide page.
Omnifarms give on average 4-5 weapons worth of memories making them easily the best way to obtain them in the game.

If you don't want to wait for an omnifarm, it's best to form a cluster and/or fragment farm party in BSF or see about organzing one in a discord server like FOE (NA Only) as they tend to still be as fast as alternative methods like Blue Mage while giving you additional items like Bozjan Clusters in the process.

For more information on fragment and cluster farming please feel free to look at this guide

Step three requires you to obtain 6 Bitter Memory of the Dying

This is step almost idenical to step 2. I've underlined some key differences for those who have already read that step.

There are multiple ways to obtain these but the quickest way to do every Bozja relic step is to actually do them in Bozja itself.

The fastest way to get these memories is to join an omnifarm. These farms are hosted on average 1-2 times a month, usually over on CEM listed in our NA server list on the main guide page. As an important note, a single omnifarm will likely get you enough memories for every single relic weapon.

If you don't want to wait for an omnifarm, it's best to form a cluster and/or fragment farm party in BSF or see about organzing one in a discord server like FOE as they tend to still be as fast as alternative methods like Blue Mage while giving you additional items like Bozjan Clusters in the process.

For more information on fragment and cluster farming please feel free to look at this guide

Though I heavily suggest omnifarms for this step, it can also be done relatively passively if you are leveling as you get 1 for doing Leveling Roulette daily.

Step four requires you to obtain 15 Loathsome Memory of the Dying

There is really only one way to get these in any reasonable amount of time and that is to do Castrum Lacus Litore as each clear will give you 5 memories.

Alongside doing CLL, make sure to do any Critical Engagements that may appear in BSF and those also have a chance of dropping 1 memory.

If you are on NA, the discord server FOE support CLL pings which may make it easier to find more people to join CLL if it pops in your instance.

If you are new to CLL, keep in mind that CLL does scale and while something like a 10 person run might not seem like enough, it certainly is. If you are curious on how CLL scales feel free to look at the CLL Scaling Data and if you want more info on how to optimize your CLLs check our our CLL Strategies Slideshow

This one time step requires you to obtain 18 of 2 types of memories: This one time step is the only step that cannot be completed at all in Bozja.

Haunting memories drop 3 at a time from the level 60 Alliance Raids while Vexatious memories drop 3 at a time from the level 70 Alliance Raids.

According ConsoleGamesWiki, they also drop at an estimated 61% per FATE completed in Stormblood Areas with Haunting dropping from Gyr Abania and Vexatious dropping from Othard.

Step five requires you to obtain 15 Timeworn Artifacts

This step only has two ways to complete it and it depends on if you just want to finish quickly or go for the "The Necromancer" title.

If you want to go as fast as possible, Delubrum Reginae is the way to go as it drops 3 Timeworn Artifacts every clear and can combo with step 6 for Raw Emotions if you are making multiple weapons.

Parties of 24 rarely fill for DRN now so I suggest setting up a party with either 5 or 8 people. If you are queuing with less than 24 people you will be required to wait for 10 minutes before it puts you in instance.

The speed of this step heavily relies on the actions and essences people are using in DRN. If you are with 8 people use this guide and if you are with 5 people use this guide.

This is however, the perfect step for those who want to get the title "The Necromancer" as you can get progress towards this step and work towards a solo clear of Palace of the Dead at the same time.

This one time step requires you to complete 3 quests each requiring items obtained from Skirmishes and CEs: Each of these quests requires 30 of 2 items. Each item correlates to Skirmishes and Critical Engagements in each zone of Zadnor. This is simply completed by doing those Skirmishes and Critical Engagements. Though you may find that you are lacking the CE items in particular.

The alternative raids are almost never worth it for the Skirmish items but it's a completely different story for the CE items. Due to the frequency of CEs spawning being quite low on average, it can be a better use of your time to do the raids. If you end up completing the Skirmish items and still need CE ones, you can queue for the following raids:It should be noted, some discord servers, like Agents of Eureka on NA, occasionally host cluster farms in Zadnor. These farms tend to spawn almost all of the CEs in the instance so it may be worth trying to join the same instance as those farming to complete the CE items.

Step six requires you to obtain 15 Raw Emotions

This step should be done alongside step five if you are going for multiple relic weapons as DRN can complete both steps.

If you are not grinding DRN for the timeworn step, or have already completed timeworns you have 2 steps that I would consider worthwhile and once again, it relies on if you want a solo clear of Heaven on High.

If you do not want "Lone Hero" and don"t want to grind more DRN, The Dalriada is for you. It drops 3 Raw Emotions per clear and in an active instance spawns around every 30 minutes or so.

If you are new to Dal, keep in mind that Dal does scale and while something like a 10 person run might not seem like enough, it certainly is. We don"t have perfect data on how Dal scales but it"s very similar to CLL so feel free to check out the CLL + Dal Scaling Data and if you want more info on how to optimize your Dals check our our Dal Strategies Slideshow

This is however, the perfect step for those who want to get the title "Lone Hero" as you can get progress towards this step and work towards a solo clear of Heaven on High at the same time.
